WOW is about the only way to describe
the newest collectibles book on my shelf, John Deere Collectibles.
Brenda Kruse did a fantastic job and put together, what I consider,
the ultimate collectors book. Kruse covers the "Green"
company collectibles and history from the very beginning to the
recent pieces available during the 1990s. Research is very thorough
covering the different companies and product lines, local dealership
pieces, ephemera, and of course toys. ... READ THE ENTIRE REVIEW HERE!

I "tip my hat"
to Brenda Kruse
for publishing the first major book covering John Deere collectibles.
... Readers of this book will benefit not only from the detailed
information Brenda has provided about the JD collectibles we
cherish and collect, but also how they reflect the history not
only of the parent Deere & Company, but also the companies
they acquired, the co-partnerships, branch offices and factories.

Essential reading
for the John Deere Collector!
This book goes a long way in filling the void in the hobby of
collecting John Deere memorabillia. While numerous books abound
regarding John Deere toys, John Deere Collectibles explores the
various advertising give aways and promotional items employed
by Deere through the years. From watch fobs to brochures to banners
and signs, it gives an excellent overview of the breadth and
depth of memorabillia out there. This book leaves you excited
about what you might aleady possess, or items undiscovered in
the attic, barn or flea market. For the novice or experienced
collector, or even someone simply nostalgic for John Deere, John
Deere Collectibles by Brenda Kruse should be a welcome addition
to your library!
